Las Vegas Detective Robert Mekker contends with
departmental cronyism and harassment when he insists on
investigating the sudden increase in traumatized young
women who are incapable of relating their horrific
experience. Mekker, with the support of his loving wife, he
circumvents departmental policies by persisting with an
independent investigation. When discovered, his furious
Captain takes disciplinary action. During his unpaid
suspension, Mekker implements a risky elaborate plan that
exposes the department’s internal corruption and the
‘good-old-boy’ network. Meanwhile; he seeks the monster,
who continues destroying women’s psyches while leaving
them otherwise unharmed. The atrocities committed by a
madman, draws national attention infuriating the city’s
mayor and the bevy of casino operators who fear a loss of
tourist business. Mekker must solve the case or find
another job.
